I have had several people respond about how wonderful the comments about the plants are! So please keep the comments coming in this post about your favorite "standout in the garden", "steal the show" type of daylilies, but also go the extra step and add these comments to the data base so that those who do not stumble across this thread can still read them. There are some out there who may not know how to do that so if you would like to add your comments to the data base and don't know how it is very simple: Just go to the Daylily database, type in the name of the plant you want to comment on, look to the left in the white box over in the blue border and select add comment, then the comment box will open and type what you would like to add, like " this plant had never reached the stated height in my garden", or "In zone 9A this plant multiplies like crazy" ,or "need to wear shades to look at this plant the blooms are so bright". Pictures are nice, but comments can really clue you in on weather or not a plant is right for you in your garden.
