Well, he was heading towards the lake so I figured he was going fishing. I know legally the life jacket is required in the boat. Those fines can be hefty. I know if I was heading to go fishing and was excited about my day and then found out I couldn't go because I lost equipment I would be really bummed! But I don't know that he was able to get it back. But I at least tried!!
