Gorgeous, Bill!

For any of you who are coming to the RU, if you will send me a treemail I can respond to, I will give you Bill's address so you can put it into a GPS. For those who are also on the other site, I will send a Blast so you won't need to tree-mail me.

The RU starts at 11:00, and you will need to park on the road in front of Bill's house. Bill is setting up places for the pot-luck dishes, the plants for the swap and your raffle gifts in his back yard, which you access Group hug Hurray! Welcome! via the driveway. Don't get sidetracked by the world-class arboretum which most folks call " the front yard". Bill will give a group tour once you have dropped off your goods in the back yard, also referred to as THE Botanical Garden of Massachusetts.

Please remember to bring your chair(s) and your appetite for food as well as luscious eye candy. There are some really good cooks among this group! If you play horseshoes, Bill generally hosts a match, so bring your shoes if you care to. Be warned, however, that there is often some controversy over Bill's pit placement. ( My husband, Hank, forced me to add that. 😁).

As to the pot-luck lunch......We're likely going to have around 20+ people, so please plan to stay up all night preparing enough food for this hardy crowd. At Bill's last RU there were some fist fights reported over the last carmelized hot dog. The more timid among us had to go without. Bill will provide some basic drinks, but you will have to bring any specialty drinks you may require.

As to the raffle gifts....anything gardenish goes....from bags of moodoo to rare plant specimens to significant gift cards to the garden centers in. Keene, NH.. 😄😜. Seriously....you can't make any mistakes here....if you bring it, someone will fight over it.

As to the plant swap.....If you are bringing a plant that is intended for a specific person (per discussions on the plant swap thread), please put that person's name on the plant.
Other plants that are up for grabs can be placed in the red Dodge Journey with the NH plates or in the designated area of the back yard.

When you arrive, if the Admission Booth is not manned, please place your $20 admission fee under the front passenger seat of the same red Dodge Journey.

And remember.....10 lucky winners will be chosen to weed the vegetable garden, and one very fortunate winner will be given the JM of your choice from Bill's front yard only. Bring your shovel just in case!

So.....come and enjoy the RU! Bill and Cindy are amazing hosts and most generous in sharing their lovely setting with us.
