Poor thing, wish monster dog would of gotten out and had the thief cornered when you got home. What is the dogs name? I believe in karma too and I like that saying 'My Mom use to say you might get by but you will not get away'.
You should check a few of the pawn stores close by, you might see your jewelry. At least no one was hurt.
