I've always liked the "plain" yellows as they clump up. Who needs a lily tree when you can have a lily shrub?
I've used the "Tiny" series potted on my porch. Once the bloom is over just stop by Lowes and see if they have a fresh shipment of budded up Asiatics for replacement. Our local store ships them in like that clear into September. Cost wise it's no more expensive than some of the annuals for an entirely different look. Can't change out colors with annuals.
And again some of those -mart stores slash the prices to next to nothing once they've bloomed out. Might match the tag, might not?
