Your day lily experiment was interesting, I wanted to add that we brought in four beautiful jalapeno pepper plants last fall and three survived, and I jostled them to pollinate and I have 6 babies that started here in the house. It was so fun. Then I saw a youtube video that peppers are perennials and it showed a 28 year old pepper plant! I am hoping to save all kinds of pepper plants this year! I need to plan for shelving and lighting, although these did survive just with my living room and kitchen plants. The one that died just couldn't' tolerate me missing their once a week watering twice. 8-( I can relate to the 7 weeks or daily weekday radiation, had that in 2007. I appreciate every day of energy, hugs.
zone 5, Northern Illinois. I am looking to see if there is an easy way to get rid of intolerable thistle plants in our circle drive area. Another topic!
