It is June and here in the North East it starts feeling a bit like Summer! We have a lot of pretty blooms in our Gardens, but in addition our blooming Orchids will still delight us!
We came from here

Let me start with a new bloomer, this is Lc Good Friend. I spotted the large blooms last Summer at Silva Orchids, they were gorgeous and so beautifully scented, I had to enquire immediately what it was and could I please, please have a division. This is another of the Lc John Mossman hybrids, this one x with C. mossiae. I did come home with a division. Smiling
I was delighted when I saw good growth and actually some sheaths developing over the Winter into Spring. The scent is downright heavenly!!
One large bloom and two slightly smaller ones on a second spike.

I tried to take some more pictures yesterday in the cage, but it was just too blustery. This morning was much better.
You probably saw some of these in the new growing area thread, but here are they now labeled.

The Domingoa haematochila blooms many times throughout the year

And this was, I think, my very first Neofinetia falcata. This is Tamakongo and I bought it from Jason Fischer some years ago. It added a lot of the compact, so called Bean - leaf growth through the years and seems to be happy in its pot. The flowers are a bit smaller than other "Neo -blooms", but just as beautifully fragrant at evening/night time.

And there is the Gongora Pterodactyl, in bloom since this Winter. I love it, it just keeps on shooting out long dangling spikes. The blooms have a wonderful scent of mainly Cloves and a bit of Cinnamon.
So hard to photograph as the slightest breeze wiggles these characters.
