chalyse,
You know I am glad you mentioned that, I passed up a lot of nice butterfly shots today. I was noticing that there were insects of all kinds on the flowers this morning, yesterday too. Bees (the smallest I had ever seen) flies, ants, all sorts of creatures, fuzzy caterpillars (don't think they should be on my daylilies) and yes butterflies too, with hummers flying around. I wasn't really trying for the photo, there were just so many insects they kept getting in the pictures.I guess that is a good sign, but looking at my hostas this morning I was not so happy about it, plus my dahlias look like bird shot was fired at them. Normally if you look close in my photos you will find some kind of insect or maybe a frog or lizard hanging around. I sometimes have to make an effort to snap a photo without something crawling around on the blooms.
