What are the treatments if any for this? Does anyone know if it carries over into saved seed? I have a single plant of Nigra (black) that I have been saving seed of this stock since 2006 first few years no rust then I didn't plant any for about 3 years found some old seed and planted it not many came up this one plant is double stalked and loaded with blooms I hope to save the seed but if the rust carries over then I will not. Plant is over all healthy except the leaves nearly bare now what few leaves are left are covered with this rust.
