I didn't even think of Mimosa Tree (Albizia julibrissin) which is another possibility. We took a road trip last week from Florida to Tennessee and back and we saw many Albizia along the roadways throughout Florida and Georgia. Some grow to 30' in height but there is a dwarf variety that some might consider a shrub.
