Now that the garden is finally planted and we're getting some decent weather, I have fruit on my first two tomato plants. Black Krim had a tomato about 1" diameter before it ever got into it's final home, and now Murhurlu is setting fruit. YAY!!! Cucumbers and squash seem slow this year, though. I keep trying to remember that everything got planted late.

I'm so desperate for good tomatoes I've resorted to buying some of the outrageously priced heirloom tomatoes available at some of the specialty markets. Still not as good as homegrown.

Anyone else have 'maters yet?
