Lovely flowers everyone.

The below zero temps during the past winter, and the spring freeze did a number on
the plants that wintered here, except for the new fall planted ones that were protected.

I think the cold temps damaged the scape and bloom development as we have
scapes about 3 in tall with undersized buds in the 2 year old seedling beds, and one
established plant had two blooms that were deformed. Very disappointing. Grumbling
The foliage on these plants did very well, so it seems only the scapes and buds
are affected.

However, I hope the rebloom scapes to come won't be affected, but at this
point I just don't know. It was a harsh winter in so many locations.

On the plants that wintered here, only 4 have bloomed if I could call them blooms.
