Here are some new and some updates from the OC. It's hot out there and no chance of rain they say.
First up, Rlc. Hwa Yuan Angel. Small plant with a single flower.
This is Psychopsis Mendenhall, alba form, with another flower.
Rhynochostylis retusa is blooming. One of these with 5 spikes won the blue ribbon at the last show.
Aerides odorata is also blooming. This huge plant is in a 12 inch basket with roots like a Vanda.
Epi. Pacific Rivalry is fully open and looking good. I recommend sunglasses.
Bc. Fladosa is now fully open:
Bct. Jack Sloniker has opened all 5 flowers. It is happily growing in a block of tree fern. This is a nice nodosa cross.
I wanted to give you an idea of what Enc. tampensis is doing.
Enc. Lee Ward is also blooming.
I'll close with some nice pics of Dendrobium Burana Green Star. It had two nice spikes but I broke one of them off hauling it to the orchid club meeting
