Ummm ... according to some reports, there have been enough deaths there to prompt research. And, other scientists elsewhere, working to understand a toxic-switch mechanism in consumable daylily plant parts, seem to have found something, too ... infrequent enough that, if you had nothing else to eat, yeah, yum. But ... I still prefer to play my russian roulette at the neighborhood grocer's (botulism, MRSA, mad cow, etc). Blinking
