The deer also ate the tips on many clematises and the buds on Fireworks clematis.
I'm off to find more trellises (not for the clem's) to block the rotten deer.
Add Butterfly Bushes to my list of love/hate plants. They pop up 50' away from where I have three planted. Mercifully, one died this past winter and won't be replaced.
