I have two and I put both of them in the same bed. Barberry bushes and Bishopweed ground cover. I like something that will cover the leaves after my bulbs are done blooming. I have a bulb and bush garden. The bushes are barberry and the ground cover that helps cover the bulb leaves after they bIoom I use Bishopweed.

The Barberry I swear at because it sticks the heck out of me but I love the colors for a bush that holds the color all Summer. I also have a red one. The Bishopweed can get thick sometime but it is easy to pull but if I do not say on thinning it will go places I do not want it to go.
