So every year there is one veggie that does exceptionally well: this year it is my zuke and squash bed! SO many zucchini! The variety I'm growing is cavilli, which does not need pollination. Fighting some little beetles that look like ladybugs but aren't, cucumber beetles maybe? Anyways the plants are such monsters that picking off the beetles seems to be working, nothing is keeping these plants down.
Had a houseful of relatives for daughters graduation and served two zuke based dinners: Indian inspired zucchini concoction with chic peas, an Italian-style deal with cannelini. Last night zucchini chips. Not tired of it yet.
How is your zucchini/summer squash and what are you doing with it? I'll post pix later, post your photos too. I love summer!
