Even old Ed Murray is sending up scapes now; but not all clumps. I'm wondering if tet Ed is different from dip Ed as I may have both. Bought the first decades ago the other a couple years ago. The very devil to get seeds from but I have a bunch of seedlings that may bloom (from which??!) and one several year old seedling that is being crowded but I can't make up my mind where to move it. Does anyone think the plants bloom a little earlier after being divided and getting established for a year or two? Or do smaller clumps bloom a little earlier? I'm not too happy with "Ed Jr" as he burns in the sun.
