Speaking of interesting colors. I generally don't care for brownish flowers, but these two siblings were interesting enough to keep. Don't know quite what to think of them? Thought about tossing them because, eh brown, but couldn't quite do it.
I did fall in love with their light blue sister.
My daughter wants me to name a light blue iris after her and the above is definitely in the running.
She preferred this one (from a different cross):
Even within the second cross, I preferred the seedling below.
We'll have to work it out over the next few years, somehow.
