May Night Salvia with Russian Sage, nepeta, and caryopteris and maybe lambs' ear is a harmonious, calming blend. They are xeric and our deer leave them alone. There is a soft yellow coreopsis that looks good with that mix--Moonlight- or Creme Brulee would work too.
Toni I am amazed at how quickly your flowers get going. It wasn't that long ago you had snow, and look at those salvia!
My salvia are just starting to bloom, and my warm season started long ago.
This is a banner year for clematis. They are loving the rain, I guess! Ones I had written off are growing and blossoming .
Maybe today I will figure out how to post faster from my new phone. The new tablet I ordered was defective so I'm still waiting on that. I want to post photos because everything looks so lush right now! Come August, I'll want to look back so I don't give up.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
