Oh yeah Thumbs up We have lots of rain in the summer, monsoons really. Usually in the afternoon or evening though with sunny mornings. Normally it is very dry with hardly any rain for the whole of the winter but this past winter we had rain at least once every week. An interesting change, I liked it. But... you know the kind of rains we have this time of year, much like in the Philippines. So much water in such a short time that it can't drain away as fast as it comes down. It's warm rain, not the cold stuff we had in Calif. It doesn't matter if you get wet, everyone wears flip flops or rubber sandals and short pants because you are wading in water if it is raining. The air and the sidewalks are really clean and fresh and anything that is wood like doors swell and are hard to close. Also, anything without air moving over it molds quickly, your shoes on a shelf in the closet, blankets in a box, etc. It's life in the tropics, I love it.
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
