Paul, this is a very hard thing to do. I will post one or two and come back later. First is Killarney Green
This photo was taken March 30 and was one of the first here after the brutally cold winter. While I was watching the little bloom stalks on the MDB's KG just jumped up and bloomed.
Next is Alpine Lake.

All the pictures of AL do not show its distinctive blue and green splatters and I love its form.
Next is Saturday Night Special
This little iris was given to me by a friend from her garden. When I went online to find a picture of it I could not find one anywhere. I had its description and just could not wait to see it bloom. It is a really dark iris and a good bloomer.
Next is Snugglebug.

I have seen many photos of this iris where the colors were in the cool family, as in a rosy red. I was delighted that it bloomed with colors in the warm tones. when the sun hits this little iris you would think it is on fire.
Another one is Prince Igor.
This one bloomed before THE STORM that broke so many of my iris bloom stalks and so it turned out to be one of a few dark TB's that made it to bloom. Another favorite this year was Cosmopolitan.

Thumb of 2014-06-14/grannysgarden/01ce84 This iris bloomed for over three weeks. Having an iris blooming for that long you get to see it from all angles and this one charmed up close and from afar.... a very good iris.
Another favorite was Decadence
Thumb of 2014-06-14/grannysgarden/81c421 has to be staked from the beginning but well worth it.
this little iris Stitch Witch bloomed in every place I had it planted and its bloom times spanned over a month
it is easy to see when grown in clumps.
I've lost count and I have a few more. It would really have been hard to decide if all of my irises had bloomed...... maybe next year?
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
