RE: Toads/frogs and cats. Don't panic if your otherwise healthy normal cat (or dog) suddenly starts foaming at the mouth. It isn't rabies....chances are she's picked up or licked a toad. Toads give off some sort of bad tasting stuff that triggers foaming in predators. This is why you never see a half-eaten toad next to the half eaten mice, birds, etc that Fluffy drags in.
