Well, let's hope it isn't too hot for them here as well. It is well over 88f every day here, and the humidity is in the 80's and 90% range. It's hot. I change about 1/3 of the water every few days in that pond because it sits in full sun on the roof and the water gets too warm for the fish. Luckily my cisterna is under the garage so the water there stays cool and that is what supplies the hose on the roof.

I gave them some fertilizer yesterday, I see 2 more aerial leaves coming up so I do hope it blooms. If it takes too long though I will have to uproot it. I'm putting a new floor on the roof garden and will be either lowering the water level a lot or perhaps removing everything to temporary containers until they are finished. That starts in July, we'll see if the lotus can bloom before then.
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
