Mary, I am so sorry for your tree peonies. I heard that mice can cause a lot of damage. Did they eat the peonies? How did they kill them?

Please do post pictures of your itohs and herbaceous peonies. I don’t k now a lot about herbaceous peonies, but I would like to learn more, particularly about the types that do well in cold climates.

Tracey, your Spring Carnival is magnificent. How big does it get? Hurray!

I am finishing the season with Kinkaku (Souvenir de Maxime Cornu). Next week all the flowers will be gone. After that I'll to throw a bag of composted manure on all my tree peonies, and wait for the next season.
