I'm still waiting on the immersa-desk seen in the early 90s at fermi labs ... but the only person I ever met who'd fully road tested it over time had developed the habit of looking at real-world environments with the cocked-head-look of a puzzled pooch. Sometimes ... just sometimes, really ... I'm glad that there may be some limits on how far things can stray from reality. Simple focus can be good, too.
