OMG! I was regretting not putting my gingers in the ground. Because of pain I wasn't able to do much digging last year. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Funny thing though, I had my shampoo ginger rhizhomes in a large pot which I took into the garage overwinter, but most of them rotted. I should have made sure the the pot had dried out or taken the rhizhomes out to dry before storage. Lesson learned. But then again, we had such an extremely cold and wet winter.
