I have numerous orchid varieties mounted on cork, in fact the Oerstedella centradenia, sub-compact/miniature, doesn't like to grow any other way. This particular orchid is 80% roots and doesn't like to be "boxed in". I also mount staghorn ferns, tillandsia, and bromeliads on cork.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
