I didnt want to be too drastic so I cut one of the two stems and the last image shows it in a seperate pot.
I dont mind the paddle plant in the SouthWest where it grows to six feet. I doubt it could ever reach that but the best stage of the plant was last year before the stem began to show and lower leaves dropped off.
