Since I figured out how to make a post go to the last one I looked at (sometime last year, I think, and I've been a member since 2012!!), I don't worry about the size of the thread anymore.
Although I have to admit, sometimes there are just so many pictures, I scroll through pretty fast. But I like having just one thread to go to because I know it will pick up right where I left off.
