It is a very prolific plant during warm weather..it can grow leaves up and down the stem or make new pups just at the base.

Got badly damaged last winter, always happens since I leave it outside.
Photo early March 2014, eventually top part got separated on its own, neck rotted but upper part still alive, so I just stuck it back in the soil and kept the lower part with little paddles already growing as is: please excuse the noid echeveria growing alongside..I just always leave it there too for company Smiling
