Ahh, thanks, Natalie. I will maybe try again with it. I plan to visit in the fall, and order some daylilies to plant then at my daughter's place. Maybe we will 'invest' in Wild Horses again. Even though it's an older variety, the plants are still pretty pricey, so I thought it must have at least some merit. Then I thought 'Or maybe it just doesn't multiply easily, and that's why they charge so much for it . . . '.
Who knows, maybe the alfalfa pellets will make the difference for it to be happy and get established there. My new daylilies here in FL will be getting a serving or two, as well.
