Clint - I get that kind of feeling too when I see that the big box stores, and now more of the nurseries also, carry the new flavor of the season and a lot of times they just aren't very good. They also push the zones and sell things that won't do well here. Makes me mad. People who don't know the difference will buy anything, and then they wind up saying, "I just don't seem to have a green thumb," and give up gardening.
That's my rant for today....
