Yes - it's very good to have a database the experts can use.
Would be nice to have it so it doesn't repel us casuals....

There's a scene in the movie "Diner" in which the man is berating the woman for not properly refiling the LPs in his record collection. He's on about genre, release date, etc. and she says "I just like to listen to the music."

@dave would it be possible to put a genus choice box in the main database under the search by characteristics, like the one in our plant lists? If I could have done that in my search for fragrant irises, I never would have had difficulties. This makes more sense to me than "dumbing down" the iris database. We all know I'm a little obsessive though, so ignore me if it's too much of a hassle.
