Yes! It's too bad we don't know what crosses he used to cultivate the rust resistant daylilies. But it does give hope that it is possible. Of course .... I'd like to try a couple of these daylilies in my yard to see if they really are rust resistant. My yard would be the true test!!!! I expect them to eventually be sold here locally because there are a lot of landscaping companies for the wealthy that would probably buy such daylilies. The other attribute of these is the very long bloom period. That interested me even more than the rust resistance!
