Just learned of this as another thing to use on rust: Nickel Plus

"Daylilies:
Nickel nutrition will improve plant resistance to rust. Apply
3pints/100 gallons of water (1 Tablespoon/gallon) at weekly
intervals for 3 weeks starting in early spring when plants
begin active growth. After the initial 3 sprays, apply every 14-
21 days until the plants start blooming. Retreat in the fall
when weather conditions favor rust development. "
