Went to HD today and couldn't resist seeing if they had any decent peppers left. Some strawberry plants in hanging pots were so tempting, but out of my price range.

I ended up buying two New Mexico Big Jim plants. I have never had these, that I know of, but they should surely fill in the empty spots I have in my garden. I am very happy now that I have a lot of peppers to go along with the ton of tomato plants I have. Would prefer to pick up a couple more Anaheim plants for my chili rellenos, but the only other peppers they had were Santa Fe somethings that looked small. I might experiment with making chili rellenos with the Big Jim's because I like to experiment using different peppers anyway, may as well experiment with making chili rellenos.

I don't know if I will have any luck finding decent pepper plants at Walmart this week, but I only have one spot left for peppers which I would love to fill with another Anaheim. Or, if they had Poblanos or other mild like Hatches or whatever.

Still watching the eight Anaheims growing and almost drooling as I watch them. There are several Serranos growing also. Nothing yet from the Cayenne.
