Wow, they grow here on St. Croix, in the US Virgin Islands, Caribbean, quite well! I guess the several we have for sale in the Botanical Gardens nursery are more precious than we know. I believe they were started from cuttings, I'll find out and let you know. I remember a huge one, for a house plant, in a bank someplace. It went to the top of the high ceiling.
