Of my (few) trips to the South, Magnolias and Rhododendron specimens were most memorable.

Granted but one is a (true?) tree. Aside from coastal plants? If I live a few more years I'll plant a Magnolia and enjoy it for awhile. I'll never plant another rhoadie after seeing what they should be. I was in complete awe. I happen upon some good ones here, but not often. Even the best here, there is no comparison.

Eh, one less plant to nurture (to leave on a positive note). Big Grin
