This plant came with the property and I'm sure it was an old favorite in the past yet can't actually find it in research.

It gets over 3 feet tall and has leaves over a foot long.

Unfortunately I did not photograph the blooms this year. They come on a single tall spike about two feet above the plant and the flowers open at the same time in an attractive fluffy floral display that is long lasting and are white.
