Gordon - Thanks for your fertilizing info! I'll have to look onto Algoflash. Messenger has never seemed to work here for me. I've not seen any difference using it.

I think part of the problem I am having is the heat and too much rain. I use a variety of things to fertilize with. I am trying to go organic as much as I can. I use alfalfa tea, compost, used coffee grinds, fish emulsion, fish waste pond water, and MiracleGro.
