It surprised me to learn Fiddle Leaf Ficus was difficult to propagate, because they were very popular and commonplace as an indoor decoration in the 60's and 70's in Texas. Just goes to show you never know about these things. We used to hoe out lantana 'weed,' and now it's an important asset to the garden.
