Hmm, that is strange! What worries me is Japan is buying all of the best wheat from the Heartland. They want our wheat and they are buying our wheat elevators and terminals to be sure they get it. I scares the heck out of me but what do you do?
There is one small flour mill in Okeene Oklahoma that still uses locally grown wheat and mills wheat in smaller batches and produces excellent flour. I get my flour from them, fresh off the line when I am there. I am lucky, they just give it to me. I am there all the time delivering wheat so I know them well!
