Lol .. Trichosanthes are really greedy guts when it comes to food. I did manage to get a male plant fairly early but not before I started a bunch more seeds. I now have 20 some odd plants growing in pots and in the ground ... so far none of the newer ones have produced flowers. Since none of the female flowers were open when the flower bloomed I took the anthers and put them in a sample vial and set it in some silica gel. When a female flower finally opened I hand pollinated and it TOOK! I had another male flower open up last night and have done the same thing with the anthers.
