Wonderful looking gingers, Anne and Mj. They are some of my favorites, too. My Hedychiums just started blooming last week and they found me by the scent. So heavenly!

Love that variegated Costus with the pink ! flower. The Globba are amazing, too. I just don't have a good spot in the shade for them right now.

This is a 'new' baby that I did the same as you with the Globba. Someone gave me a start, I said 'oh, just another Costus' and popped it in a pot that promptly got engulfed by the jungle last summer. I discovered it when I literally tripped over the pot and the flower hit me in the leg. Made a good spot for it this spring and it is happily increasing. Costus speciosus
