I'm a daylily person but at our recent National convention, there was a great hosta vendor and he was selling regular size as well as mini hostas. Five of the minis followed me home and I put them into a container. The vendor had done that with some of the minis and I liked the effect. One that I bought from him he had hybridized and he said it was going to be named hosta of the year. it looked unusual and is in the back of this container garden. Sorry I can't remember his name, but think he is a "big poobah" in the world of hostas! I think his hosta was named 'Curly Fries.' Are you familiar with that one?
