Many of my favorite brights such as Primal Scream have already been mentioned.

middendorffii. This one has a low bud count, but makes up for it by multiplying rapidly and sending up lots of scapes. Also often reblooms in the fall. It is my earliest daylily. First bloom this year was May 1 and it was blooming 6 weeks later. Very bright when nothing but the dwarf iris are in bloom for me.

Bill Norris has perfectly formed blooms, high bud count great color and grows well in both full sun and part shade.

Adorable Tiger just glows. Nice front of the border one.

Gold Elephant is wonderful if you need a tall background burst of color.

Glorious Autumn has a very high bud count. A little too short for where I have it, so will move it next year. It is my favorite double.

Ceil d'or has a unique color and always lots of blooms.

Orange Vols is the same color as Primal Scream and multiplies well.

Tropical Heat Wave is a stand out with good bud count.
