Just a note to my fellow Floridians that the Annual Caladium Festival is being held this week-end in Beautiful Downtown Lake Placid. The festival runs from Friday July 25th through Sunday the 27th. There's a really nice car show on Saturday for you car enthusiasts!!
It's a nice little hometown festival. There are some very nice arts and crafts, great food, entertainment and lots and lots of caladiums!!
Lake Placid is a quaint little town located NW of Lake Okeechobee right off Hwy. 27. We're about a two hour drive from Tampa, Orlando or the Fort Lauderdale area.
We will be having an Open House at our warehouse where we'll have some deeply discounted caladium bulbs.
We'll also have the grill fired up cooking gourmet Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs..lol.. I will also be offering tours of the caladium fields. You'll be able to get up close and personal with these beautiful plants. Make sure you bring a camera if you come!! You can email me at:
