I agree! If God had meant me to carry an umbrella, He would have given me three arms.

Instead I have a "cowboy hat" with a wide rim. Dry hair and glasses, and partly dry shoulders.

P.S. I visited San Diego and they had a TINY shower. The kind of spritz that a coastal PNWer would never call "rain". I guess they just don't experience water falling from the sky there, because people acted like it was radioactive fallout.

Mothers cut three holes in plastic garbage bags and sent their kids out wearing them like ponchos. Maybe they had seen the scene in the Wizard of Oz where the evil Witch dissolved in the rain.
