You might ask customer support on the website of the provider.
They might know more than they wanted to put in the advertising 'blurb'.
Maybe it was bred from some named, registered cultivar of a certain species (which I think is legal as long as sexual propagation was one of the steps).
Or, if different Canna species cross-pollinate, the statement of all its ancestry might be too long for a catalog blurb. Or they might not want to tell "just anyone" what their recipe is, but MIGHT tell a hobbyist.
